« We are not born women,
we become one »
Simone de Beauvoir

The Union and the Federation of the French of Monaco

and UFE Monaco give voice to women artists
on an exhibition where four women artists,
a writer and the Perfume House Galimard
express, their idea of feminine sensuality.

Calypso by Sigaldi revisits the Japanese print on panels and furniture where she revisits ancestral Japanese art with today's techniques to immerse her personnages in an evanescent world where the soul is lost in order to find the essence of what really matter.

Elizabeth Wessel presents a series of paintings in which she expresses her feminine vision of seduction and the gallant game of love. She teases, she jokes, she annoys... She provokes, but always with  elegance and subtlety.

Karla Sutra invites us to discover her “aphrodisiac” frescoes; it subtly deceives the eye and stimulates the senses: illusionist hopping, solar flares and decorative disturbances ... inspired by the Mediterranean, classical and modern art, including Japanese art and the architecture of monasteries.

Vega Vénusie expresses, through her works rich in color, all the struggles of women and all their facets. She represents at the same time the mother, the daughter, the wife, the lover, the friend… Her imaginary characters refer to childhood, cheerfulness, lightness, joy, but behind the apparent lightness hides a much more relevant commitment.
